Planning Permission Granted for Major City Centre Retail and Student Residential Scheme

We are pleased to announce that planning permission has been granted for our major city centre retail and student residential scheme on Coorkidge Street in the heart of Leeds’ Civic Quarter. The site was the location of the former Walkabout bar and is adjacent to the grade II listed 02 Academy and The Hilton Hotel currently under construction. The proposed six to eight storey development will greatly enhance the existing streetscape and include two retail units, a lettings agency and common space at ground floor with 96 self-contained apartments above. The contemporary scheme has been well received throughout the planning process and is designed to complement the massing and appearance of its surroundings and includes two set back roof levels. The £10 million scheme is scheduled to start on site towards the end of the year to be completed early summer 2018.
