Brewster Bye Submits Planning Application for 130 Houses in York

Brewster Bye Architects have submitted a planning application for 130 new houses in the city of York on behalf of Cobalt Builders Ltd.

The scheme on the edge of the city is unique in that it provides large landscaped public open space, a number of well-sized allotments and a well-equipped children’s play area. All accessed of a verdant, landscaped shared-surface street that unifies the scheme. Sixty-five (50%) of the homes will be available at reduced prices and affordable rents to potential residents, as the developers and the City of York ‘s Housing team look to ease the shortfall in affordable housing in the city.
