Planning permission has been granted for the conversion of a retail unit with additional extensions to form 24 Apartments at Trinity Hall student accommodation on Woodhouse Street, Leeds.
The conversion will include:
- Conversion of the unused retail space into accommodation within the existing footprint with new extensions that will create 24 additional beds in the accommodation.
- Provide a mixture of internal and external amenity spaces to create additional spaces for the residents, which will add to the existing amenity spaces e.g. Gym, TV room and picnic area.
- Extend out the existing gable ends of the building which will create a new sympathetic street scene onto Woodhouse Street when viewed in the context of the neighbouring area, it will also provide a new courtyard / amenity spaces to the proposed apartments.
