A Monthly Roundup - May

There has been a lot going on in the BBA office this May and it’s only when we look back over the month do we see how much has happened and what we have achieved.

At the start of the month both our Stockton and Saltburn affordable housing refurbishments were completed.

Our Stocksbridge extra-care scheme went in for planning and work has started on the construction drawings.

Interviews to increase the BBA team have also been taking place and we are pleased to announce that we have recruited two new members of staff to assist with our ever expanding workload.

There has been progress on site for our Yorkshire Housing jobs – The Wallbottle, Hazel Road and Raynville Drive.

A positive public consultation has taken place for the Hanover Court Refurbishment in Haxby.

St Ann’s, a development of 13 flats and 2 houses in Leeds has started on site.

The Kershaw Grange scheme of 23 houses in Calderdale has recently been completed.

Pawson Homes, Ilkley, a refurbishment 4 No. 1 bed apartments into larger, open plan and modernised spaces for older aged people to live reached Practical Completion.

Both the Priory Road scheme in Barnsley and Madeley Road, Wakefield are nearing completion.

Our Ripon Road scheme in Harrogate has started on site with Strategic Team Group and Yorkshire Housing.

We are also in the process of preparing the planning application for the Our Lady’s scheme which is a family housing development in York for Yorkshire Housing.

Phase 1 of the eco-lodges for Raithwaite Hall has started on site using SIPs construction.

Work has started on the £100 million Flaxby Country Resort, located between York and Harrogate.

A planning application has been submitted for the extra care and dementia care development at Fernbank Drive, Bingley for Abbeyfield.

And finally, The Northfield Avenue, Driffield scheme is about to start on site.

It really hasn’t stopped at all this month and it looks like June is going to be just as busy!
