This month at BBA:
Projects currently at planning stage:
Anley Crag Business Park on land to the south of Settle
Brewster Bye have been working with Candelisa on plans for Anley Crag Business Park on land to the south of Settle, between the A65 and the B6480.
The land has been earmarked by the Skipton-based developer for a large mixed-use scheme that includes more than 114,000 sq ft of business centre, hybrid units and general industrial space. An additional 23,000 sq ft is assigned for a new car showroom and plans also include the provision for 19 residential units with off street parking and garages.
The potential of the site is fantastic and if successful it will bring much needed capacity for buildings of this type to Settle
Brown Court, Wigan
Planning has been approved for refurbishment and extension of an existing care home at Brown Court, Wigan for Housing and Care 21. The proposal will improve the existing buildings sustainability by using an external wall insulation system, also allowing an aesthetic improvement of the building to be made. The scheme includes the refurbishment of existing communal spaces, external areas and the creation of a new draft lobby and entrance canopy.
Brewster Bye’s proposal will improve the court for its residents by creating a more comfortable and environmentally friendly scheme.
