Hanover Point Official Opening


Hanover Point, Stockton-On-Tees was officially opened by Hanover Housing Association in September alongside local dignitaries such as the Mayor of Stockton-On-Tees councillor Kathryn Nelson who unveiled a celebratory plaque to mark the occasion.

Hanover Point has seen a significant transformation over the last year. A new entrance, windows and external wall insulation were installed to greatly improve the thermal efficiency and enhanced the aesthetics of the out-dated façade.

Hanover Point resident 96 year old Nancy Wilson said: “I am really pleased with the work by Hanover and its architects. They have given my home a stunning face lift which I am very proud of.”

Tony Tench Retirement and Property Director, Hanover Housing Association: said, “This impressive retrofit programme is the result of meticulous planning, creativity and fantastic partnership working. We believe these improvements will benefit residents now and into the future, making Hanover Point an attractive and affordable place to live.”
