David Bye died aged 68 at his home in Pudsey on Monday 12 May. David had been suffering with prostate cancer for some time. He leaves his wife Glenys, three grown up sons and two grandchildren.
Together with Keith Brewster, David founded Brewster Bye Architects in January 1992. He retired from the practice in 2008.
David Bye will be remembered by many as a talented Architect who left an enduring legacy in the centre of Leeds, not least in his designs for British Waterways Headquarters building and the Skyline Apartments at West Yorkshire Playhouse.
He was a good friend to many and a very special person. He will be greatly missed.
Arrangements are being made by David’s family for a small private ceremony.
