It has been a really good year at Brewster Bye Architects with 3 awards wins in the space of 6 weeks and now we have some staff promotions to share.
Matt Seddon has been promoted from Associate to Associate Director, a promotion that marks his 10 years of dedicated service to BBA. Matt has a very diverse role within the practice – not only is he Team Leader for the commercial projects team where he is engages in staff resourcing, supervision and delivery but he is also the QA Manager and is responsible for all of the IT within the company. Most recently Matt has been involved in the ongoing Raithwaite Hotel development in Sandsend and St Leonard’s in York.
Gareth Jackson has been promoted from Senior Architect to the position of Associate, a promotion that marks 6 years of service to BBA. Since joining the practice in 2008 he has worked on a variety of projects across affordable housing, extra-care developments and community sectors. His most notable project, Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre (HEART) was awarded The RICS Pro Yorkshire Community Benefit Award and will go through to the National Awards in London in October. Gareth’s new role will see him in the management team where he will assist with staff resourcing and job running.
