Whilst studying at Leeds University Russell worked at a Chartered Surveyors in Halifax as an Architectural Technician where he gained a sound knowledge of many aspects within the construction industry. Once qualified Russell worked at AFL Architects in Manchester where he worked on various projects including hospital refurbishments and extensions.

Russell was self employed for a number of years prior to joining BBA in August 2013 where he has led a variety of projects through to completion including Housing, Barn conversions, Extra Care schemes & student accommodation.

Since being made an Associate in 2017, Russell is also responsible for QA within the office and is also Chair for the monthly Technical Team meetings which keeps BBA up to date on technical and construction changes and resolves any issues that may have arisen on projects. Russell is also working towards gaining Chartered membership of C.I.A.T.
