Andrew joined Brewster Bye in July 2013 having spent 4 years at his previous practice working predominantly in the education sector in which he lead a number of secondary education projects ranging in value from £10-15 million as part of the Building Schools for the Future Programme.
Since joining Brewster Bye, Andrew has specialised in the urban residential sector with a particular focus on student accommodation, hotels, PRS, build to rent, leisure and master planning. He has lead a number of notable student accommodation projects in Leeds and Manchester including the 131 bed Iconic scheme and the £13 million luxury 96 bedroom Oasis Residence development for YPP in the heart of Leeds’ conservation area. As part of the scheme Andrew and the team also developed an exclusive interior design concept which has subsequently been rolled out across the YPP portfolio. More recently Andrew has developed a 297 bedroom student scheme for Urban Group in Nottingham.
Other significant projects Andrew has lead include the creation of a new golf clubhouse, driving range and 36 eco-lodges at the Leeds Golf Centre; a 150 bedroom Hilton Garden Inn as part of the HD1 masterplan in Huddersfield and a number of high profile masterplanning projects such as the mixed use 1000 apartment Leeds City Village development.
Since becoming associate in 2017, Andrew has become part of the Brewster Bye management team with a focus on CDM, BIM and office management. In his spare time Andrew is a keen sports enthusiast particularly enjoying running, cycling and Monday night football.
