Low Moor Medical Centre is part of the Bradford and Airedale NHS LIFT; a multi-million pound programme of improvements and expansion of primary care facilities. The medical centre at Low Moor is a new purpose-built surgery. The new facilities, contained within a two storey building, allow patients to access to a broad range of primary care services in a contemporary setting. This contemporary Medical Centre provides an attractive, flexible and low-maintenance building which serves both the Primary Healthcare needs of the local community and makes a distinctive and positive addition to the local built environment. The public and clinical areas are located at ground floor level with staff areas being split between ground and first floor levels. The waiting area has a glazed atrium allowing sunlight to penetrate into the heart of the building. The form of the two-storey element allows for the potential future expansion of both staff and clinical areas to the north.
