Treadwell Mills

The Treadwell Mills development provided for the refurbishment of a redundant 19th century textile warehouse in the old merchant quarter of Bradford, a densely developed historic enclave traditionally known as Little Germany, which is located on rising ground towards the eastern edge of the city centre and close to the cathedral precinct. The 4-storey building of around 30,000 square feet and Grade II listed has been converted into 33 apartments with informal car parking spaces. The development adds to the increasing stock of residential developments in the area and as such plays a key role in the renaissance of the urban village.
