Monday 26th March saw the turf cutting ceremony take place to celebrate the commencement of the construction of a new 16-unit residential development for Leeds Federated Housing Association designed by Brewster Bye Architects on the site of the former West Grange Road Social Club in Belle Isle, South Leeds.
The development consists of a number of 2, 3 and 4 bed homes. These will be available for social rent, affordable rent and shared ownership. The scheme is designed to meet Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4, Lifetime Homes and Secured by Design standards ensuring environmental and social sustainability now and into the future. These homes will be completed by February 2013.
