On Tuesday 29th September, directors Mark Henderson and Nathan Wilkinson attended the official opening of the 86 unit Rose Manor Extracare scheme and Oleander House supported living accommodation, which provides 12 apartments for adults with disabilities and complex needs, both of which were designed by BBA.
The buildings were opened in a ribbon cutting ceremony by Lucy Allan MP who said :
“It is imperative that people have peace of mind when it comes to care, but it is just as important for them to maintain their independence for as long as possible. Both these developments allow residents to do this in a safe and comfortable environment.
“It was good to have the opportunity to look around the facilities and speak to some of the residents in their new homes.”
Other attendees included Sanctuary Director of Development Andrew White and Luke Shaw of Seddon, the appointed contractor who built the scheme. Guests were treated to a refreshments and a guided tour of both developments.
Nathan Wilkinson, director at BBA, commented that“This was a fantastic opportunity to see the second of our completed Extracare and supported living schemes for Sanctuary Group fully occupied and the facilities being well used by not only residents but the wider community”.
