The £10M, 98 apartment, Extra Care Scheme known formally as Greenwich Gardens, situated in the Mackworth area of Derby, was completed in early March 2013 for Sanctuary Housing Association.
Brewster Bye Architects have been working together with Sanctuary Housing Association and Mansell Construction since Spring 2008 to develop the scheme. In January 2010 we received planning approval and work began on site in early 2011.
This development provides a safe and stimulating environment that adapts to the changing needs of residents with features as a shop, health suite, gym, restaurant and a hair and beauty salon. It consists of attractive communal areas both internally and externally with level wheelchair access provided throughout. The scheme has achieved a BREEAM Very Good rating
Recently completed, this is another fantastic extra care project that Brewster Bye Architects can add to their ever expanding portfolio.
