Planning Approval Granted for Former Leeds Girls High School

Brewster Bye Architects have successfully obtained planning consent for Stonebridge Homes to build a mixture of apartments and new build homes in place of the former Leeds Girls High School on Victoria Road in Headingley.

The development known as Victoria Gardens, will create a total of 101 new properties with the new build houses offering spacious family living over 3 floors all set within landscaped gardens of the historic school site.

Architect Nick Page from Brewster Bye said: “This is an incredibly exciting landmark development, which is situated just minutes away from our office. We have combined our local knowledge and experience of complex natured sites, with our passion for creating interesting and site specific architecture to generate a sustainable development that will become a fantastic place to live.”

Phase one has now gone on sale and includes 20 four bedroom townhouses.
