Cowlersley Lane, Huddersfield

Work has started for 42 new houses at the former Waste Mill at Cowlersley Lane, Lower Linthwite, Huddersfield. The site enjoys an elevated outlook over the Colne Valley and the design team were keen to ensure as many of the proposed houses could enjoy this outlook. Built predominantly of Yorkshire artstone and matching grey roofs, the development is both contemporary and in keeping with its surroundings – which include three grade II* listed cottages next door. The works will be phased over the next two years.
