It hardly seems like any time since we posted our monthly roundup for May but suddenly it’s the end of June and another busy month at BBA has flown by!
Harborough Avenue, a development of 21 new homes for Pennine 2000 / Synergy Housing Solutions Ltd has started on site.
Planning permission for 10 no. contemporary dwellings for our client CoHo was granted for Stockwell Lane, Karesborough.
The start date for The Beeches Phase 2, an extra care housing development in Menston, has been confirmed to start on site on the 29th July and Angus James Construction have been appointed as the Contractor.
Pawson Homes Phase 2, a refurb of 4 no. 1bed apartments for Abbeyfield (Ilkley) Society has been confirmed to start on site on the 8th July with Dobson Construction.
The official opening for our West Grange Road scheme for Leeds Federated Housing Association took place on the 12th June.

Nick Procter joined us as our new Part ll Architectural Assistant and we also had Ben Staves in the office for two weeks on work experience.
Flaxby Hotel is progressing forward with discussions with possible hotel operators taking place. We have also received our formal instruction from Skelwith Leisure to commence the detail design and tender information for the Flaxby with the hotel due to start on site from February 2014.
Holly Street, a development of 18 houses for Yorkshire Housing and Strategic Team Group has started on site.
Priory Road, 30 affordable homes in Barnsley for Yorkshire Housing is in the process of handover with the remaining units to be completed late July.
Northfield Avenue, 24 dwellings for Chevin Housing has started on site.
Holly Bank, Knaresborough has received planning approval.
The restaurant extension to Raithwaite Hall for Skelwith Group was handed over on 21st June.

Keith, Mark and Nathan attended the Chartered Institute of Housing Annual Conference and Exhibition in Manchester.
Hendford Drive, a development of 27 homes in Bradford for Firebird Homes has received planning approval.
We have received Planning Permission for 15 affordable homes at Cricket Street, Denton, Manchester for Regenda Group.
We have also received planning approval for 26 affordable homes at The Close, Lundwood, Barnsley for Cornell Group.

Bolton Road, a development of 46 homes in Bradford for Home Group and Strategic Team Group is progressing well on site.
There has also been site progress on Hazel Road and The Wallbottle for Yorkshire Housing and Mansell Construction.

And on a final note, we received a LABC award for best large commercial project for The Keep at Raithwaite Hall.
