David Bye retired in 2008 and Keith Brewster now works as a consultant for the practice. The current Board comprises three Directors: Chris Austin, Mark Henderson and Nathan Wilkinson. Based in Headingley, Leeds, the practice is a RIBA Chartered Practice and carries out architectural commissions across the UK. We are also BS EN 9001 and 14001 accredited and Construction line approved.

Brewster Bye Architects provides a client focussed service which is committed to delivering high quality, innovative design solutions which encompass a holistic approach to aesthetics, function, cost, construction and sustainability.

This approach is founded on co-operative working methods and a strong belief in the power of architecture to positively influence the lives of those that engage with our buildings. To this effect our design philosophy is not about image or product, instead grounded in context and the idea that each project is individual and should react to the specific requirements of both the site and the client.

Our design work is supported by a comprehensive program of ‘Continued Professional Development’ and a commitment to ‘best practice’. Specific working groups are dedicated to exploring the most cost effective and innovative construction methods and approaches to sustainability. Led by our Technical Director, Mark Henderson, it is this research that then informs our design projects and ensures we are able to deliver best value for our clients.
